For senior players, FMInside's Best Bargains filter put Napoli's Kevin De Bruyne, 35, at the top with an estimated value of €8.4M to €11M. Both lists come from the Launch Preview database, free to play since 6pm GMT Oct 29, 2026, and are provisional until the full release on Nov 10, 2026. Prices here are as read on Nov 1, 2026.

The best young bargains in FM27

FM Scout's Stam published Football Manager 2027 Bargain Wonderkids & U21 Talents on Oct 31, 2026. It takes the under-21s with high potential from FM Scout's Wonderkids list whose asking price (AP) is £7.5M or less, "just over 420" in all. R is FM Scout's own 1 to 100 score of potential. The highest rated, as read on Nov 1, 2026:

The cheapest of the highly rated are under £1M: Guille López (86, £0.77M), Fenerbahçe's Adnan Efe Fettahoğlu (85, £0.36M) and Gimnasia (LP) goalkeeper Jeremías Ochoa (85, £0.63M). FM Scout warns that asking price "is not always the same on every save you start", because it depends partly on a player's potential, which can be a range.

The best senior bargains in FM27

FM Scout's usual senior Top Bargains list had no FM27 version on Nov 1, 2026 (its FM26 list is still up, for Football Manager 26). FMInside's player database, set to "FM 27 (27.0.0)" data, has a Best Bargains smart filter that returned 282 players on Nov 1, 2026, sorted by its own current rating, with an estimated value range. Its top ten:

Further down the same filter, Bayer 04's Victor Boniface, 25, stood out at 66 now and 80 potential, valued €500K to €4.5M. A value is not a price: the selling club sets the fee, and many of FMInside's picks play for clubs in Japan, MLS and Liga MX.

What makes a good bargain in FM27?

FM27 changes some of the sums behind a cheap deal, per SI's deeper world reveal:

• 6:56 Sell-on clauses show up front. Scout Reports now show sell-on fees, and a club that owes a sell-on asks for more.
• 5:46 Young players want minutes. They weigh game time more heavily, so a bargain teenager may turn you down without a role.
• 16:13 Squad Cost Ratio. New rules and "global spending readjustments" arrive; SI had not published the details as of Nov 1, 2026. In the clip MustermannFM finds the calculation on the FFP screen of a pre-release build.
• 3:24 Deadline Day is back. Agent offers sit on the Recruitment screen all window and ramp up near the deadline.

How do you find hidden gems yourself in FM27?

48:05 SI's first-hours guide names the tools: the Player Database's Quick Filters for players near the end of their deals or on transfer and loan lists, filters for low minimum-fee release clauses, and Scouting Range, which sets how far your scouts reach and how much they spend.
